In December, the Democracy Panels project took a major step forward by bringing its flagship creation—the Comics Guide—directly into the classroom. Two live workshops were held in high schools across Tyrnavos, gathering students, team members, volunteers, and young people from across the Larissa region. Coordinated by Eleni Kyratzi, the sessions introduced the guide not only as a creative achievement, but also as an educational tool for exploring democracy, civic responsibility, and active participation. Students engaged eagerly with the materials, participating in discussions, group tasks, and creative storytelling exercises. The guide’s blend of visual storytelling and social reflection struck a chord with participants, who embraced it with curiosity, enthusiasm, and thoughtful feedback.

The workshops were more than just educational sessions—they were moments of genuine connection between young people and democratic values. Teachers and local educators expressed strong interest in integrating the guide into future lessons, while the Directorate of Secondary Education in Larissa welcomed the team’s initiative. The response confirmed the project's impact at the local level and hinted at broader possibilities. In parallel, members of the youth team presented their progress to international peers during the second hybrid Generation Europe workshop, receiving insights and encouragement from across the continent. December proved that youth-led creativity, when shared with community and care, can truly inspire change.
